A Calm Presence in
Seasons of Change

About Alix
Midlife doesn’t always look dramatic.
But it can feel like something inside is shifting.
I’m Alix Goodwin Olavarria - an emotional clarity and life transition coach for thoughtful midlife women navigating seasons of change.
I work with women who look capable on the outside, but quietly feel stuck, uncertain, or ready for something more.
“Sometimes the most powerful shift is simply hearing yourself clearly.”
what i believe
The women I work with don’t need fixing.
They need space.
A psychologically safe place to sort through what’s true, what’s fear, and what’s simply the next step waiting to be taken.
When you feel deeply heard, clarity follows.
And clarity makes courage possible.
"clarity emerges
from spaciousness,
not from pressure"

My path here wasn’t linear.

I spent years in creative and entrepreneurial roles - raising children, building businesses, supporting my husband’s company - while quietly navigating my own periods of questioning.
From the outside, life looked full.
Inside, I was asking deeper questions about purpose and meaning.
Meditation gave me space.
Coaching gave me courage.
Both helped me reconnect with my inner wisdom and move forward with steadiness and self-trust.
That experience shapes the way I work today.
Professional Foundation
I am a National Board-Certified Health & Well-Being Coach (NBC-HWC) and an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
My work is grounded in evidence-based coaching and ethical standards - delivered with warmth, presence, and deep respect. All conversations are confidential.
My Roots
I’m a proud native of New York City, shaped by the energy, ambition, and possibility of Manhattan. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan, then followed my passion for storytelling into a career in the theater arts as an actress. That path eventually brought me to Los Angeles, which I now call home. I’m married with two children who continue to be my greatest teachers—bringing joy, perspective, and growth into my life every day.
“Midlife asks better questions. And you don’t have to answer them alone.”
